World Trade Centre in Manama

Martin Benkenstein established his Middle East business in 1972 and has been part of the dramatic changes and developments in this oil-rich and strategic region over the past 30 years.

He works closely with the South African Department of Foreign Affairs and the Embassies in Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and the Sultanate of Oman, to identify and develop bi-lateral Trade and Investment Projects and Contracts with reputable Pan African Companies.

His network of respected Middle East associates include members of the Royal Families, Sovereign Wealth Funds, and leading Business Families throughout the Middle East Region.

Martin is selective in associating his name as " Advisor Middle East Projects " with Pan African Companies who have the resources, commitment and integrity to develop " lifetime relationships" with partners in the Middle East.

The Martin Benkenstein Group has their Head Office in the island Kingdom of Bahrain. The strategic location of Bahrain allows access into the powerhouse of the region, Saudi Arabia, after a 45 minute drive across the Bahrain-Saudi Causeway.

Martin assists South African and other international companies to set up offices in Bahrain. Once this is done, Bahrain Residence Permits are issued, which permit access to all Gulf Countries without the need for Visas. The exception is Saudi Arabia which allows Bahrain Residents a 6 month Multiple Visa which is easily renewed.

The Tax Free and high-tech Banking and I.T environment of Bahrain ( Microsoft Head Office for the Middle East ), coupled with the progressive and democratic approach of the Government of Bahrain, has created a crime-free, and efficient business environment.

The beaches, sporting facilities and growing number of leisure resorts make Bahrain an ideal destination for the expatriate family.
